We found this gem of a hotel while on a road trip heading north. A winter storm was coming in and we needed to stop for the night. The place was spotlessly clean, our room with a king sized bed was large and comfortable. Our night’s stay …

Front desk clerk was welcoming and friendly. Our room was super clean and comfortable. The heater in our room worked well and was quiet. The carpet looked reasonably clean and towels were decent. We really liked that there was 24 hour coffee (regular and decaf), tea and hot chocolate available in the lobby. We will definitely be back.

Staff was most welcoming. Room was clean and had no smell. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. Being cold, the pool area was not open. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Noise level was very quiet. I would definitely return to stay at the Bryson Inn.

Not a bad room but... When I first opened the door the heat slapped me across the face. Somebody had set it to 82 and left it running. Every single light in the place was a really awful cold white. The ceiling of the room was this textured stuff that I hope to never live with again, but not my problem. The toilet was too low. The bed was quite comfortable, though. The "free breakfast" did not include any eggs or meat at all.

The staff was super friendly and humorous. The accommodations were clean, quiet, and safe. Hotel is right off the highway which is convenient. Breakfast is a typical continental assortment. Definitely pleased with our stay.

This is nice little inn a few miles outside Mount Airy. The rooms are spacious. They could use an update. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. A/C was AWESOME. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There's breakfast in the morning. There's a waffle maker, coffee, tea, cereals, milk, oatmeal and such. Its easy in and easy out. For the price, you can't beat it

Wonderful place to stay. Clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price was extremely reasonable. I could definitely recommend Bryson Inn to anyone. I just wish we had stayed there in warmer weather so the children could have enjoyed the pool.

I was riding my motorcycle and visiting friends in Mt Airy about 40 miles from my home. The route is a winding, twisty road through the Blueridge Mountains. The day was getting late in the evening and it being early February, the temperature was dropping, so I opted to spend the night in Mt. Airy and make the ride home the next morning. Within minutes after booking and receiving a confirmation email, I got a call the from the front desk saying not to even bother stopping by because i would be denied a room. The reason? Their policiy is not renting to anyone living within a 45 mile radius of the hotel. (I can't find this actually stated anywhere on their website, but i do have the voice mail left by a very rude desk attendant) I can only think the Bryson Inn is so worried about the local crime rate (45 mile radius) that they refuse to rent to locals for any reason. They may think this is good policy, but its disgusting and prejudiced.
